Man-agement: The ability to administer activities to achieve a pre-set obligation and/or goals

The boy that is able to manage himself successfully becomes the man who is not dependent on others to sustain his life. This is when he becomes at a man age or at the man stage. Manhood is not a number of years or any specific number age. 

Manhood is about your independence and your ability to bring the life that you want into fruition without the dependency on others. Because when you are young your life is managed for you. But as you age, you inevitably have to manage your own life without expecting others to do it for you. 

The expectation for others to make your life easier because they can without much effort from you still creates dependency. And no man will actually feel like a man or be treated with the respect of a man when they are dependent upon another persons rules and restrictions. 

The dependency on another person isn’t manhood at all because you still expect others to do for you, instead of as a man thinks to do for himself. If others are still taking care of you and providing your basic needs of food and shelter for you, they will still always see you as a child.

As you grow you should desire to become your own man so that you can be respected as such. By nature as a man you don’t want to be given everything because whoever gives you something will still lack the full respect for you as a man. 

Only a boy wants to always take the easy road of dependency and the lack of responsibility. The boy mindset wants to be given everything without working for it. But a man’s mindset is to be given nothing but what he earns. 

As a man your job is to learn how to manage your own life without asking for help unless it is necessary. Then as a man you must learn how to protect your life so you can be independent without the need for others to keep you safe.

 

Only then after you have established the ability to protect yourself, can you protect women and children. As a man once you can protect yourself, you can give that protection and security to anyone or anything else you desire to.
